What you can do in Donegal during National Heritage Week on Thursday August 21

Events taking place across the county from Lough Derg to Fanad

Bunscoltacha Ghaoth Dobhair 1831-2000

An Crannog hosts an event which will tell the story of the parish's education system since when the National School system was founded in 1831.

This bilingual event attempts to tell the story through the use of PowerPoint, exhibitions, and talks, with most of the photographic material and documents on public view for the first time.

Opening hours are from 12pm-4pm, but the event itself should last for between one hour and 90 minutes.
