Club-by-club guide to the Junior A Football Championship

Downings won the Donegal Junior A title last season and have since made it to Division 1 of the All-County Football League, with the competition starting again this weekend

First two opponents: Away to Robert Emmets; home Naomh Ultan
Prospects: It’s all about learning for the Letterkenny youngsters and they will have a sprinkling of players who won the U-21A Championship last December against MacCumhaill’s at O’Donnell Park. Lee McMonagle was the match-winner in the 2012 Donegal SFC final and he and Conal McGinley have brought experience to the young side this year with the likes of Daire Morrison and Sean Halvey.
