Junior A Championship: Guide through the 11 clubs hoping to win county glory

Eleven teams will participate in the Junior A championship this season and hope to replicate what Na Rossa did last season, following their success in the county final against Moville. But who will come out on top in 2024

Naomh Padraig, Uisce Chaoin

Manager: Daniel McCauley

Last year championship: Junior A semi-final

This year ACFL: Finished ninth in Division 2

First two opponents: Urris (h), Naomh Ultan (a)

Prospects: The only team in this championship that played Division 2 football this season, and that will stand to the Muff men who held their own against some top senior sides, including Cloughaneely and St Naul’s. They finished with four league wins and three draws, finishing level against top senior teams such as Four Masters, Ardara, and Milford. Will be expecting big things from Naomh Padraig, especially with Caolan McColgan back in the saddle.

Star man: Caolan McColgan
