Action from Inishowen's win over Donegal Town

Inishowen picked up another crucial win over Donegal Town at the weekend leaving the league title destination now in their own hands.
Donegal Town had started the stronger with the wind advantage and good work from the pack put them in a deserved lead.
Inishowen battled hard against the elements and it was Coran Donaghy that levelled the game finishing off a good move.
The game suffered from the elements then with a lot of scrums. Inishowen were reduced to 14 when the first of three home players were carded for high tackles.
However, down a man they still took the lead when a fantastic run from Cormac Kelly on his first start for the senior team from inside his own 22 to score under the posts.
This put Inishowen 10-5 up at the break. The second half saw Inishowen extend their lead with a good move off the back of a scrum resulted in Kelly getting over for his second. With Cantwell converting, the lead was stretched to 17-5.
The game got a little out of control then with a further two yellow cards for Inishowen. In a contest the home side was now unlikely to lose, they just fell short of the bonus point win they were after.
As the league table now stands, a victory over Letterkenny on Wednesday night is all that Inishowen require to land a third league title in as many years.
