Carndonagh is set to host an Easter trail for families, children, and community members to come together for a celebration of spring, community and fun.
Organised by the Barrack Hill Steering Committee, the event takes place on Easter Monday from 11 am to 1 pm at Barrack Hill Town Park. Set against the backdrop of Carndonagh's natural beauty, the Easter Trail starts at the community gardens. The path will lead adventurers through engaging activities including lawn games, family-friendly yoga sessions and encounters with friendly alpacas.
The highlight for many will undoubtedly be the chance to meet the Easter Bunny. Adding to the festivities, the Carndonagh Brass Band will provide a musical backdrop to the day's events, creating a lively atmosphere for all to enjoy. Refreshments will be available at the community gardens training room, ensuring attendees can refuel after their trail adventures.
This event aims to foster community connections and encourage outdoor activity amongst Carndonagh's residents. It's a perfect opportunity for community members of all ages to come together, enjoy the outdoors, and celebrate Easter in a fun and inclusive environment.
