Big nights for The Henry Girls and George Houston at Earagail Arts Festival

The Seas Above, a spectacular illuminated, twilight procession in Buncrana on Saturday night as part of the Earagail Arts Festival.

Following an incredible night in Buncrana with The Seas Above illuminated night-time parade, Earagail Arts Festival’s Inishowen programme continues this week.
Interdisciplinary artist, Fiona Mulholland has a fantastic exhibition currently on display in The Saldanha Gallery at Artlink, Fort Dunree.
The works in the exhibition, In Search of Pearls and Future Fossils, explore our conflicted and tenuous relationship with the natural and built environment.
Another major highlight for the Inishowen area will be ARCHIVE 23 presented by Inishowen Traditional Music Project at Buncrana Cinema on Thursday, July 20 at 8pm.
A hybrid event and celebration of the living and evolving music of the area, ARCHIVE 23 includes the screening of a brand-new documentary featuring 23 musicians and singers, as well as live performances by some of Inishowen’s finest.
Join Inishowen’s own Henry Girls in The Colgan Hall, Carndonagh on Friday, July 21 at 8pm as they celebrate 20 years of making music together as a band ahead of the launch of their new album, A Time to Grow.

Don’t miss this special concert with the Malin sisters as they reflect on their musical journey and showcase their latest creations. It’s sure to be a night filled with beautiful melodies and harmonies and a celebration of the power of music.
If you happen to be in West Donegal, or fancy a trip, The Wild Atlantic Weekend kicks of there on Thursday and continues right up until Sunday, July 23.
On Sunday night, July 23, Inishowen’s own George Houston will also bring the festival to a close at the world-famous Teach Hiúdaí Beag from 8pm.
