Club by Club guide to the All-County Football League

Last year's four divisions were cut short due to the pandemic before relegation was decided so for 2022 things have been realigned into three - Divisions 1 and 3 have 13 teams and there are 14 in Division 1

Division 1

St Michael’s
Managers: Cathal Sweeney and Raymond McLaughlin
Last year championship: Semi-finalists in SFC, before losing to St Eunan’s
Last year AFCL: Finished third in Division 1.
First three opponents: 2/4 Gaoth Dobhair away, 10/4 St Eunan’s away, 16/4 bye
Prospects: Last year was a peculiar one for the Dunfanaghy-based side, who started with Kevin Cookie Gallagher in charge before he stepped away and made a return to his native Dowings. Daniel McLaughlin was thrust into the manager’s hot seat and despite all, fared reasonably well with a third placed finish in Division 1 and Donegal SFC semi-final spot.
Star man: Carlos O’Reilly.
