Applications have opened for businesses or community groups who'd like to run activities as part of the night time economy scheme in Buncrana
Submissions have opened for any events that businesses or community groups would like to host as part of the night time economy pilot.
This grant scheme is to support applicants who wish to try new and exciting initiatives to support night-time activities and events after 6pm in Buncrana on dates in October 2024.
This is done to encourage collaboration and facilitate a greater variety of offerings and experiences for residents, workers, and visitors.
MRK will be curating this new programme of activity for the month of October, all of which will be events built and developed in Buncrana, for the town.
Closing dates for grant applications will be Thursday, October 10. Funding decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, and successful applicants will be notified within three working days of submission.
A maximum grant of €1,000 will be available per applicant. Applicants are able to apply for more than one event, however each event requires a separate application.
The proposed events must take place after 6pm between Monday, October 14 and Thursday, October 31.
