Today, Thursday, will start off wet over much of Donegal with rain in many areas.
Rain will gradually clear southeastwards through the morning. Sunshine and showers will follow from the west. Showers will become heavier in the west and north of the region this evening with hail possible. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees with moderate to fresh west to northwest winds.
Tonight, showers will continue, some heavy with hail possible. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees with moderate to fresh southwest winds.
On Friday morning, showers will gradually clear to the south. Further showers will move down from the northwest through the afternoon and evening. Some sunny intervals also. Highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees with moderate southwest winds becoming northerly.
