Today will be cloudy and wet with a possibility of thunder this afternoon
Donegal will have a mix of cloudy periods and sunny spells this morning.
More cloud will gradually build later this afternoon as southerly winds strengthen and a band of rain spreads across. The rain may be heavy at times with the odd rumble of thunder too. Highest temperatures of 19 to 21 degrees.
High seas expected along Atlantic coasts with wave overtopping possible.
Rain will clear away early this evening leaving a mix of clear spells and just isolated showers for tonight. Lowest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees south fresh southerly winds.
The pollen forecast is moderate, as is the Solar UV Index.
Tomorrow will see scattered showers drifting over with fresh and blustery southwesterly winds from early morning. Sunny spells during the afternoon but more cloud will develop later in the evening. Highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees.
