A largely bright and breezy day with sunshine and scattered rain or hail showers in Donegal today, Wednesday.
Showers will be heavy and prolonged, with a few thunderstorms possible. Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty west to northwest winds.
Showers will become confined to Atlantic coastal areas on Wednesday night with clear spells developing. A cold night with lowest temperatures of -2 to +2 degrees, allowing frost to develop as westerly winds fall light over land.
A bright and fresh day tomorrow with plenty of sunshine. There will just be a few passing light showers. Highest temperatures will range from 7 to 10 degrees in moderate west to northwest breezes.
