New Year's Eve will be mostly cloudy with showers throughout the day

The last morning of 2024 will be rather cloudy and wet with a band of rain drifting south.

The rain will gradually move away during the afternoon but it will remain cloudy with a few isolated showers following too. Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees with fresh southwesterly breezes, easing later.

Staying cloudy with a few isolated showers drifting over at times but most places will stay dry. Westerly breezes will be strong for a time too, easing overnight. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 3 degrees.

The new year tomorrow will start cloudy with a few showers, gradually clearing in the afternoon with some sunny spells. The showers may turn wintry at times on higher ground. Fresh westerly breezes will ease light in the afternoon with the highest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees but turning very cold in the evening.
