Temperatures up to 25 degrees for Donegal - but it's to turn nasty later on

Mostly dry with sunny spells this morning, with highest temperatures 22 to 25 degrees at a stage before tonight will see widespread rain, heavy at times with the chance of thunderstorms and local flooding, with Donegal in receipt of a status yellow weather warning.

Temperatures up to 25 degrees for Donegal - but it's to turn nasty later on

Mostly dry with sunny spells for Donegal this morning, with highest temperatures 22 to 25 degrees at a stage later when a moderate to fresh southeasterly wind develops.

However, tonight will see widespread rain, heavy at times with the chance of thunderstorms and local flooding, with Donegal in receipt of a status yellow weather warning.

Lowest temperatures 13 to 16 degrees with moderate, occasionally fresh, southerly winds veering westerly with the clearance of the rain.

Rain early tomorrow, Monday, morning with further thunderstorms possible and a continued chance of localised flooding. The rain will clear early and the rest of the day will be mainly dry and sunny. Highest temperatures 18 to 22 degrees with light to moderate westerly winds.
