Donegal set for a cool, wet and windy Thursday

Cool, wet and rather windy on Thursday is the forecast for Donegal, Met Éireann say.

Blustery outbreaks of rain will extend in across the county during the morning, persisting into the afternoon and evening. Cool for the time of year with highs of 13 to 15 degrees. Unseasonably windy too with fresh to strong and gusty westerly winds.

Tonight will become mostly dry with clear spells and moderating westerly winds. Some passing showers still too though. Lows of 9 to 11 degrees.

Friday will be a day of cloud and sunny spells with well scattered showers, all in mostly moderate west to southwest winds. Highs of 14 to 16 degrees.
