Donegal is in line for a wet start to Thursday, with things expected to clear later in the day, according to Met Éireann.
A wet start to the day with rain becoming widespread through the morning, with further outbreaks of rain for the afternoon. A clearance will gradually extend in the afternoon and evening, with the last of the rain just slowly clearing the northeast later. A breezy day with moderate to fresh and occasionally gusty south to southeast winds, veering westerly and easing later. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees.
Tonight will bring some clear spells but with scattered showers spreading from the west overnight, some heavy. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees in mostly light to moderate west to southwest winds, though winds will be a little fresher for a time in western coastal parts.
Showers will become fairly widespread tomorrow, and some will be heavy, with the slight chance of some hail and isolated thunderstorms. There'll be some bright or sunny spells too. During the evening, cloud and a band of rain will move into western parts. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees in mostly light to moderate west to southwest winds, increasing fresh to strong in northwestern coastal parts.
