Donegal's sunshine and high temperatures to be interrupted by thunderstorms today

Met Éireann say Donegal's sunshine and high temperatures will lead to heavy showers and thunderstorms today, Thursday.

Sunny spells this morning, showers will develop by lunchtime turning heavy this afternoon with thunderstorms developing bringing the likelihood of spot flooding. Highest temperatures 19 to 21 degrees in light northerly or variable breezes.

Becoming mainly dry overnight with clear spells. Lowest temperatures 9 to 13 degrees in moderate northerly winds.

After a dull, damp start there'll be sunshine and showers developing tomorrow, Friday. Highest temperatures 19 to 22 degrees with moderate to fresh northerly winds.
