May Day in Donegal will see plenty of sun with showers here and there

May it is but Met Éireann say Donegal will experience sunny spells with showers today.

A good deal of dry weather today with good sunny spells and occasional showers. During the evening, cloud will build from the east. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees in light to moderate southeasterly winds, fresher for a time in the morning in the northwest.

Cloud will continue to build with outbreaks of rain and drizzle following tonight. Later in the night, the rain will mostly clear southwards. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees. Light variable breezes will become northwesterly later in the night.

Mostly dry tomorrow with hazy sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees. Winds will be mostly light to moderate and variable but will be fresher at times near coasts, especially in the northeast in the evening.
