May might be coming - but Met Éireann forecast thunderstorms and hail for Donegal

Met Éireann haven't ruled out thunderstorms and hail in Donegal, today, Tuesday. 

Spells of occasionally heavy rain at first today, Tuesday, clearing northwestwards this afternoon with bright or sunny spells and showers following. Some of the showers will be heavy, with a chance of thunderstorms and hail. Breezy with highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees. Mostly moderate to fresh, occasionally strong, southeast winds will ease later in the day.

Showers will become isolated tonight with clear spells developing. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees, in light to moderate southeasterly breezes. Patchy mist forming also.

Wednesday will be a drier day overall with sunny spells and a few showers. Cloud will thicken in the east towards evening. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees in mostly moderate southeast winds, decreasing light later.
