Met Éireann says that Donegal is in line for scattered showers today.
The showers will be most frequent and possibly heavy in the morning and afternoon and will become more isolated by evening. Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees in a light to moderate northeasterly breeze.
Showers will die away early on tonight with long clear spells following. Cold with lowest temperatures of -1 to 3 degrees and a touch of frost. Patches of mist and fog may form in light northerly breezes.
Saturday will be a cool day. There'll be a mix of sunny spells and scattered April showers through the day. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees, in a light to moderate northeasterly breeze.
