A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued for the county. The latest warning will stay in place until 9pm tonight.
Met Eireann is warning that heavy rainfall leading to localised flooding.

There will be sunny periods & some showers for most. However, showery rain will persist in parts of the north & northwest with some localised flooding likely.⚠️

Meanwhile, a small craft warning remains in place from Fair Head to Dungarvan to Bloody Foreland with westerly winds expected to reach force 6 or higher at times.
The warning which was issued in the early hours of this morning will stay in place until 11pm tonight.
