JOB ALERT: Hegarty's Home Interiors hiring Accounts Assistant

Hegarty’s Home Interiors has a vacancy for:

Accounts Assistant - Maternity cover 9 months contract

25-30 hours per week flexible working days (call: (074) 936 1075 or e-mail for more information)

Tasks will include but not limited to:

• Accounts Payable - processing invoices, preparation and posting of payments, reconciling supplier accounts and liaising with suppliers in relation to any queries.
• Assist with queries, shortages and damages.
• Preparation of bank reconciliations.
• Preparation of VAT, Intrastat and VIES returns.
• Provide support and assistance to the finance manager as required.
• Any ad hoc reports and general admin duties.
• Liaising with and preparing files for accountant. 

Skills:

• Strong IT skills and proficient across the MS Office suite particularly in Excel.
• Have an ability to multitask and prioritise workload with attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A team player who will work closely with all departments in the company.
• Willing to take initiative and contribute to the efficiency of the department.
