ATU Donegal's sports scholar, Kevin Jordan, played his part in the Irish Colleges and Universities Football League (CUFL) International Soccer team's 3-0 victory over the Irish Defence Forces in the Pensions Cup match held on Wednesday.

Currently a third-year student at ATU Donegal's Letterkenny campus, the 21-year-old Buncrana man is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Sports & Exercise with Physical Education. His dedication to both academics and athletics is evident, having been an ATU sports scholarship recipient for the past three years.

Outside of his university commitments, Jordan has been a consistent performer for Finn Harps, a club he joined from Buncrana Hearts. Despite facing a serious injury during the preseason, he made a commendable return, featuring in eight matches during the 2024 League of Ireland First Division campaign.

In September 2024, Jordan extended his contract with Finn Harps until the end of the 2026 season, underscoring his value to the team.

His selection for the CUFL International Soccer squad is a testament to his talent and hard work. In December 2024, Jordan was instrumental in Ireland's 2-1 victory against the French University side in Nantes, providing a crucial assist for the winning goal.
