Finn Harps manager Darren Murphy is mourning the death of his father, William Robert (Bertie) Murphy.

Mr Murphy passed away peacefully on Sunday in Sandringham Nursing Home.

Late of Selshion Parade, Portadown, he is survived by his beloved wife Heather, children Darren and Leah, daughter-in-law Sandra, son-in-law Andrew and grandchildren Sam, Harry, Jack and Jacob.

He will be laid to rest on Wednesday after funeral service at 2pm in St Paul's Church, Tartaraghan.

His family have asked for no flowers, but donations instead for the benefit of Dementia NI and Parkinsons UK (Armagh Branch) via www.milnefuneralservices.co.uk/donate or cheques made payable to: Milne Funeral Services donations account, c/o 59 Seagoe Road, Portadown BT63 5HS.

In a statement, Finn Harps said: “Everyone at Finn Harps sends their deepest condolences to manager Darren Murphy and family after the passing of his father Bertie. May he rest in peace.”
