Finn Harps have announced that following consultation with the FAI, their match against Cork City, originally scheduled for Turner’s Cross on April 26, will now take place on the same day in Finn Park.

The Munster Football Association announced last Monday night that Turner's Cross Stadium will be closed for an indefinite period of time due to significant damage to the playing surface.

The kick-off time is subject to change depending on the floodlight maintenance at the Donegal ground, but for now, the time of the match is being moved from 7.45pm to 6.0pm.

In addition, the Round 24 fixture, Finn Harps v Cork City, originally scheduled to take place at Finn Park on Friday, July 12, will now take place at Turner’s Cross at the same date and time of 7.45pm.

There have been several issues with floodlights at Finn Park in recent years and the club has not been in a position to access the grant for an LED system but continues to pursue this avenue.

The club ordered and paid for components before the season but were informed late on that the order could not be fulfilled.
