Kerry Brown
Kerry Brown was on target for Athlone Town as they defeated NIFL Premiership champions Glentoran, at Blanchflower Stadium, in the Women’s All-Island Cup.
Casey Howe had given the visitors the early lead but the Glens were ahead at the end of the first-half thanks to Kerrie Beattie and Nadene Caldwell.
Greencastle native Brown struck the equaliser in the 48th minute while Howe, Ciara O’Neill and Keri Lynne Rossman added more goals to give Athlone the 5-2 win.
