Strong Donegal representation in Stephen McConnell's Ulster Regions Cup squad 

The competition takes place in Sligo on March 22/23 and 24 where the winners of the Inter Provincial round robin series will then represent Ireland at the UEFA Regions Cup tournament later in the year

Strong Donegal representation in Stephen McConnell's Ulster Regions Cup squad

Stephen McConnell has included 20 Donegal-based players in his Ulster squad for the upcoming Regions Cup Tournament.

The competition takes place in Sligo on March 22/23 and 24 where the winners of the Inter Provincial round robin series will then represent Ireland at the UEFA Regions Cup tournament later in the year. 

Letterkenny Rovers clubman McConnell, whose backroom team also consists of former Aileach manager Emmet McLaughlin, has included 11 players from the Inishowen League. 

They are: Calvin Gallagher, Eoin Murphy and Kieran McDaid (Buncrana Hearts); John G McLaughlin and Christy McLaughlin (Glengad United); Lee McColgan, Lee McLaughlin, Jamie McKinney, Jack Doherty and Corey McBride (Cockhill Celtic); Brendan McLaughlin (Culdaff FC). 

Meanwhile, the Donegal League is represented by: Mark McConigley and Eddie O’Reilly, (Fanad United); Blake Forkan, Ryan Lonergan, Caolan McConnell and Nathan Plumb (Letterkenny Rovers); Odhran McGuinness and Ryan Cunningham (St Catherine’s) and Eoin Slevin (Donegal Town).
