Shane McGinty previously signed for the Institute in 2015
St Johnston native Shane McGinty has signed for Irish League side Institute.
McGinty was previously on the books of Ballinmallard, Coleraine, Dungannon and Ballymena; Finn Harps and Galway United in the League of Ireland, as well as his local Donegal League club Kildrum Tigers.
It marks the second spell for McGinty at Institute, who are currently second in the NIFL Championship, trailing league leaders Dundeal on goal difference. The 29-year-old previously signed for the Derry club in 2015.
