The Inishowen League Division 2B is the latest to feature on the Swedish ‘Muddy Roots’ which explores football on the Discovery+ channel.

The television cameras and production team attended Carrowmena FC’s 3-2 loss against Glengad Reserves in early December last. You can watch two of the episodes below, with both containing a little agricultural language. 

It’s rough, ready and raw, with some of the players admitting it may have been “a late night, maybe even an early morning” by the the they took to the field at Tremone Bay, The Warren, with the things under the watch of referee, Gerard O'Kane.

“On an early Sunday morning in the fresh coastal winds of the North Atlantic, the love for the sport will be put to the test,” reads the programme description. “Seriously. It's a game, but the home team are coming straight from a Christmas party with a few too many pints.”

Previously, the show aired footage of the Donegal Junior Football League clash between Dunlewey Celtic and Glencar Celtic.
