Paula McGrory scored twice for Sligo Rovers.

Paula McGrory scored twice and Keri Loughrey was among the goals as Sligo Rovers defeated Bohemians in the Women’s Premier League.

McGrory came off the bench to net twice in the second half as Steve Feeney’s Sligo won for only the second time in the League this season.

The goals are McGrory’s first since returning to the Bit O’Red in recent weeks.

Her fellow Buncrana native Loughrey opened the scoring after only two minutes before Sarah Kiernan added a second.

Lynn Craven reduced the arrears for Bohemians, but McGrory’s double secured a fine win for Sligo, who have a Women’s FAI Cup semi-final against Athlone coming up.

Emma Doherty and Jodie Loughrey were also in the Sligo side for Saturday’s game at The Showgrounds.
