Kevin Deery has returned to Institute having managed Moville Celtic in the 2022/23 season.

Deery previously has two seasons as 'Stute manager and has been confirmed as the new Head Coach of the Drumahoe side.

The 38-year-old took the reigns at Moville last May and the Glencrow outfit finished as runners-up in the Jackie Crossan Premier Division, finishing four points off winners Buncrana Hearts.

Former Derry City midfielder Deery took Institite to two NIFL Championship play-offs, in 2016 and 2017 before departing the club.

He has also had spells as assistant manager of Sligo Rovers and Derry City.

Institute said: “Institute are delighted to announce Kevin Deery as Head Coach. Deery returns after previously guiding us to two playoffs and feels he has unfinished business.

“Kevin has already hit the ground running & is working hard as the club strives to improve next season.”
