Letterkenny Rovers' USL clash with nine-in-a-row champions Cockhill Celtic was abandoned just 23 minutes in at Leckview Park after one of the hosts' players sustained a serious looking leg injury.
Following a lengthy stoppage and with the contest still locked at 0-0, the sensible decision was made by the match officials to call proceedings to a halt.
