Buncrana's Luke O'Donnell called into Ireland U-16 squad for double-header

Republic of Ireland Men’s Under-16s Head Coach Paul Osam has named a 20-player squad that includes Luke O’Donnell for a friendly double-header against Switzerland in Spain.

O’Donnell is from Buncrana and is currently on the books of Derry City FC. There’s a first time call-up for Malaga CF’s Aaron Ochoa Moloney, with Jaden Umeh and Ade Solanke among the squad having played a part in the MU15s’ season.

Six players, who have been called into the Colin O’Brien’s MU17 squad, will return to play with the MU16s for the games – Marcus Gill, Kaylem Harnett, Matthew Moore, Matthew Murray, Ike Orazi and Mason Melia. The games will take place in Oliva Nova, Spain on Wednesday, February 15 and Friday, February 17.
