Buncrana Hearts were the first name out of the hat in the draw for the FAI Junior Cup Sixth Round.

The Castle Park side, who enjoyed a fine 6-0 win on Sunday against MP FC from Dublin, welcome Galway’s Salthill Devon, a former League of Ireland team.

Their neighbours Cockhill Celtic will learn their fate today, Thursday, in the FAI Intermediate Cup quarter-final draw.

Elsewhere in the Junior Cup, Kerry District League side Killarney Celtic face a tough trip up to Dublin as they face Leinster Senior League side Tallaght United.

The draw, completed today at FAI HQ, Abbotstown by Competitions Manager Fran Gavin and Villa FC goalkeeper Craig Dunphy, also saw St. Michael's AFC, winner in the 2018/19 season, face Waterford side Hibernian FC.

Claire side Avenue United, 8-0 winners over St. Mary's AFC in the fifth round, face a trip to Galway to face Colga FC whilst Sandyhill Shangan FC face a short trip to Crumlin United in an all-Dublin affair.

Another stand-out tie will see the 2019/20 winners Fairview Rangers travel to Wexford side Gorey Rangers with all ties set to be played on the week-ending February 12th.
