A charity fundraiser in memory of a baby boy from Carndonagh has raised funds for the Dublin hospital he was treated in.

Kayden White took ill after his mother Michaela McCauley gave birth to twins in the National Maternity Hospital and died aged just 15 days.

Michaela and Kayden’s father Keelan organised a fundraising dance and wax or shave in memory of her son Kayden with all proceeds going to the National Maternity Hospital and Hugh’s House. The event was held in Simpsons Bar in Carndonagh.

Michaela said there was a great turn-out for the event and great generosity from the community.

We would like to thank everyone for their support and kind donations, everyone who purchased tickets and to all the businesses who donated fantastic prizes in aid of the national maternity hospital and Hugh’s House in memory of baby Kayden White. We are so overwhelmed by the support and kindness from all the community."
