When are the Irish darts players on as the World Darts Championship heats up

As the PDC Worlds Darts Championship heats up as the round of 32 gets underway, there are a number of Irish darts players that are in action.

As a number of seeded players have already made way in the tournament there is a chance that the Irish competitors could make a run as the draw opens up.

With William O'Connor, Dylan Slevin, and Keane Barry already making way, there is still 3 players from the island of Ireland that will contest for the half million pound, prize winnings.

Firstly, 2 time PDC major winner, Derry's Daryl Gurney, gets his round of 32 match underway against 2 time Premiere League winner, Johnny Clayton on the 27th of December at around 2pm.

Then on the 28th of December, Antrim man, Josh Rock, gets underway against multiple tour winner and fifth favourite to win the whole tournament is Chris Dobey.

And finally, last year's quarter finalist, Fermanagh man, Brendan Dolan, comes up against three time champion of the world, Michael Van Gerwen at 20:30 on the 28th of December.
