Matthew McCole is the sole Donegal entrant for the 2025 National Elite Championships.

The Illies Golden Gloves light-middleweight is in a testing division as action is set to glove off from next Monday, November 11, at the National Stadium.

The Dungloe man, who won the Ulster Elite crown in January, will learn his fate when the draw is made later today.

Former Olympic Games bronze medallist Aidan Walsh is among the other 71kgs entrants.

Eugene McKeever from Holy Family in Drogheda, the beaten finalist last year, is also there, but his conquerer, Dean Walsh, is not entered as he readies for a pro debut in early December.
