It was a strong performance from Inishowen First XV against PSNI at City of Derry RFC on Saturday in the Championship 3 League.

The men were ahead at half-time with tries from Mark Scott (2) and Coran Donaghy taking the score to 19-12 for Inishowen.

Inishowen continued their lead with further tries from Coran Donaghy and Mark Scott completing his hat trick.

PSNI came back into the game and managed a late try in the final minutes to level the sides at full-time. Final score 29-29.

Our U-8s, U-10s and U-12s spent a wonderful morning playing hosts Letterkenny Rugby Club.

Some great rugby in action could be seen, especially from our newcomers. Most notable was the levels of respect shown by both teams for each other and to our coaches and many volunteers.

Thanks to Letterkenny for the warm hospitality and treats. This weekend is the first of the IRFU’s national Respect Our Game weekends.

We in Inishowen RFC love to see all the parents and spectators come to support our players.

We all have a part to play in how we show respect for all teams, supporters, volunteers, coaches and officials.

U-14s Inishowen/ Finn Valley RFC Youth Girls played Enniskillen RFC 1st XV Sunday afternoon in what was a tough battle between two good sides.

The Donegal team moved the ball well and dominated play in the first half with Jessica Long scoring two good tries with one conversion by Sophie McGee.
