Callum Devine makes up ground but Matt Edwards still in driving seat 

Matt Edwards and David Moynihan, in their Ford Fiesta Rally 2 clocking 10 minutes 02 seconds, remain the outright leaders with 13.9 seconds now between the front pair and last term’s winners Devine and O’Sullivan ((Skoda Fabia Rally 2).

Callum Devine and Noel O’Sullivan were quickest over Stage 9 of the Donegal International Rally at 10 minutes 01.4 seconds- the second spin around Knockalla on Saturday. 

But Matt Edwards and David Moynihan, in their Ford Fiesta Rally 2 clocking 10 minutes 02 seconds, remain the outright leaders with 13.9 seconds now between the front pair and last term’s winners Devine and O’Sullivan ((Skoda Fabia Rally 2). 

Cathal McCourt and Brian Hoy, Ford Fiesta, were still in third at the close of Stage 9. 

Edwards, speaking to DonegallLive at Service, had this to say: "There is no room for let up. We have to keep going at this kinda level. We just have to keep the pace up. We're enjoying it and we hope to consolodate what we have moving to the next stage". 

In the modified section, leader and reigning champions Kevin Gallagher and Ryan Moore in their  Darrian T90 GTR registered 10 minutes 8.2 seconds with Declan Gallagher and John McCarthy in their Toyota Starlet still in second coming in at 10 minutes 21.8 seconds on the stage. 

The difference there now is 35 seconds over all.
