Investigations are ongoing
A man is in serious condition after being assaulted in the early hours of Sunday morning in Dublin.
Gardaí in Pearse Street attended the scene of a serious assault that occurred on Westmoreland Street on August 31.
Both Gardaí and emergency services responded to this incident at approximately 6:30am.

A male, aged in his 40s, was removed from the scene to St James's Hospital. He remains in a serious condition.
The scene was preserved for a technical examination which has been completed.
Investigations are ongoing.
