My name is Ceiline O’Meara (28). I am a Primary School Teacher and Musician from Limerick, currently based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). I’m on a career break from Scoil an Spioraid Naoimh, Limerick, and now teaching in Sharjah, UAE. I’m a harpist and pianist, and since moving to the UAE, I brought my harp with me. I’ve performed at various events across the country, including the prestigious Dubai World Cup, and even had the honour of performing for Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum. As an All-Ireland Fleadh Champion, I joined the Comhaltas group here in the UAE and I am looking forward to the All-Ireland Fleadh this year in Wexford. In 2018, I began modelling with Celia Holman Lee and the Holman Lee Agency. Over the years, I’ve taken part in the Rose of Tralee Fashion Shows, and since moving abroad, I’ve began collaborating with Cara Jewellers based in the UAE. I’m incredibly proud to be the first UAE Rose and I look forward to representing each of the seven Emirates in Tralee!
