PHOTOS: Shock as Noel Gallagher of Oasis spotted in Kildare pub ahead of Croke Park shows

Noel Gallagher, co-lead vocalist and guitarist of Oasis, was spotted enjoying a quiet drink in a Kildare pub yesterday evening, August 15 ahead of the band's sold-out Croke Park shows. 

The rocker was sitting with friends in the corner of Brady's Clockhouse in Maynooth.

As he left, Gallagher posed for selfies with onlookers before jumping into a SUV with blacked-out windows. 

He was wearing a dark polo shirt and dark glasses. 

It's believed that the guitarist is staying in the nearby five-star Carton House Hotel in Maynooth. 

The-highly anticipated Oasis global tour will come Ireland this weekend in Dublin's Croke Park. 

This will be Oasis' first gig in the country in 16 years, where the duo last played in Slane Castle shortly before their infamous split in 2009.

For those making their way up to the Saturday and Sunday gigs this weekend, here's what you should know:

Organisers are encouraging concert-goers to walk or cycle or to use public transport and private buses if possible.

Traffic and parking delays are inevitable for those driving so sufficient time should be given in order to get to the gig without missing any of the action and getting home without further stoppages. 

Dublin Bus: The Dublin bus routes which will serve Croke Park are as follows: 1, 7, 13, 14, 16, 19, 27a, 29a, 31a, 31b, 32, 33, 40, 40b, 40d, 41, 41b, 41c, 42, 43, 44, 53, 122 and 133. 

In a partnership with the concert promoters, Expressway will be offering return coach services for both dates from Limerick, Cork and Galway to Croke Park. 

Luas: Extra services will be provided for both the red and green lines for each night with several stops located within a 20-minute walk of the stadium (Connolly, Parnell and Marlborough) - click here for more details.

Train: Drumcondra and Clonliffe Road train stations will allow concert-goers to arrive just a 5-minute walk away from the venue. The closest Dart stop is Connolly station, a 15-minute walk from the venue. 

Car: People driving are advised to park in the city centre if possible as Croke Park does not offer any parking options and the surrounding areas of the stadium largely consist of private parking for residents of the area.

Bus Éireann: All services are operating as usual ahead of the gigs and timetables can be checked through their website. 

Irish Rail has confirmed that concert-goers travelling from Galway have the option of an extra, late night, train home on the Saturday night. It will leave at Heuston Station at 12:30am and expected to reach Galway's Ceannt train station at 2:45am on Sunday. 

Gates open at 5pm in Croke Park with the support acts set to start at 6pm so arrive as early as possible to beat the queues.

Oasis are expected to start around 8:15pm and usually play until 10:30 based on their UK gigs. Attendees should give themselves plenty of time to arrive with massive crowds expected, they should aim to leave at least 45 minutes in doing so.
