Famed Irish musician Samantha Mumba has taken aim at the Late Late Show's Eurosong judging panel for being "unnecessarily rude and vile to all the finalists" just one day after coming runner-up in the competition.

Norwegian singer EMMY is now set to represent Ireland at the Eurovision in Switzerland this coming May, with her song 'Laika Party', a tribute to a Russian dog, who was the first living creature to be launched into the Earth's orbit in 1957.

EMMY secured her victory with 34 points, while Mumba's song 'My Way' came in second, with 26 points.

Last night, February 9, the artist took to her social media to thank her team for working with her on this experience, and her song 'My Way', saying, "I am beyond proud of myself and the team for all the work and dedication we all put into this performance. I honestly wouldn't change a thing."

Going on to then shoutout specific members of her team, Samantha then took aim at the panel of Eurosong, in a short paragraph, where she said, "Special mention to the 'panel' (aside from Bambie who I stan) who not only didn't have the credentials, experience, or professionalism required and were unnecessarily rude and vile to all the finalists - my parting gift to them is a bag of to slowly choke on. (Would have said this in person but they all left the green room before I had the opportunity to unsurprisingly)."

It is widely known that the aubergine emoji, which Mumba used in her post, is commonly used to symbolise male genitalia online.

The panel in question was comprised of celebrity chef and former Eurosong contestant- Donal Skehan, Dancing with the Stars Ireland's judge- Arthur Gourounlian (who previously danced on stage with Sibel at the 2006 Eurovision in Greece), 2FM broadcaster- Laura Fox, and the infamous Bambie Thug, who is a professional singer and represented Ireland in the Eurovision last year.

Mumba is clearly standing firm on her statement as in the comments under her social media post she referred to Skehan, Gourounlian, and Fox as a "trio of absolute bozos."

Just two hours after Samantha's post, Donal Skehan seemed to retaliate, as the chef posted a picture of himself to Instagram stories, with the caption "Bozo" featuring two aubergine emojis, the same emoji which Samantha used in her post.

Also in the Instagram comments of her post, Samantha Mumba confirmed multiple times that she has no personal vendetta against the judges, but just simply believes they were not qualified for the judging panel of the iconic Eurosong competition.
