A woman who was arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Dublin earlier this month has been charged and is expected to appear in court later this Wednesday.
Aged in her 40s, the suspect was arrested on Tuesday by gardai investigating the death of the man who was found with serious injuries on a public road in Balbriggan in the early hours of August 10.
After he was discovered, the man, who was aged in his 60s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin where he subsequently died.
A post-mortem examination was carried out following his death but gardaí say the results are not being disclosed "for operational reasons".

In an update, issued this Wednesday morning, gardai confirmed the woman arrested on Tuesday has since been charged.
She is expected to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin later.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
