The Dublin store that sold the €3.7m Lotto jackpot winning ticket has been revealed.
There were cheers and celebrations in the Dublin 3 area this Tuesday, as EuroSpar Fairview on Annesley Bridge Road at Fairview Corner was revealed as the selling location of Saturday’s winning Lotto jackpot ticket worth €3,796,062.
Lil Courtney, who has owned the store with business partner Barry Fay since 2005, was thrilled to get the call from the National Lottery confirming the win.
“It’s been a big weekend all round! The win is hugely life-changing for the winner themselves but this is also the biggest prize that we have ever sold, so it’s a very exciting time for the store.
“We have lots of locals who come into us regularly, so it would be great to think that someone in the area may have had a life-changing win but of course, it could be anyone!
“We are delighted for the winner and hope they’re already enjoying the buzz of their great news. Wins like this don’t happen every day so we are all enjoying the celebrations and I imagine the excitement will last quite some time!”
The National Lottery has confirmed that the Lotto jackpot winner of €3,796,062 has come forward and arrangements are now being made for them to claim their life-changing amount in Lotto HQ.
Meanwhile, this Tuesday night's EuroMillion jackpot is set to roll towards an estimated €50m.
