A seven-year-old got his wish granted as he got to live the day as a train driver.

Quinn got to experience two days in Dublin and live his dream, thanks to Irish Rail and the Make A Wish foundation.

"Quinn (7) recently had his wish to be a train driver granted! Thanks to @irishrail he experienced two action-packed days in Dublin, including operating a train simulator at the Irish Rail Training Centre. Join us in granting life-changing wishes," said Make A Wish Ireland.

This comes as Wish Week is taking place across Ireland for children living with life-threatening illnesses.

Make-A-Wish grant magical wishes to children living with life-threatening illnesses, it raises awareness and acknowledges the bravery of wish children and their families. Wish Week takes place until April 27.
