Heartbreak as Andrew Scott's mum suddenly dies before Mother’s Day

Andrew Scott and his family have been left heartbroken after his mother passed away, a couple of days before Mother’s Day.

Nora Scott passed away surrounded by her loving family and best friend Anne, in Dublin’s St Vincent’s Hospital on March 7.

“It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Nora Scott (née Boyle), beloved wife of Jim, mother of Sarah, Andrew and Hannah,” announced the family.

Nora is predeceased by her parents Kathleen and James, her sisters Chris, Kathleen and Joanna, her brothers, Cullen, Eugene and Jim. Nora will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Jim, her loving children Sarah, Andrew and Hannah, much loved daughter-in-law Janine, sisters Gertrude and Molly and brother Andrew, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephew, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

She will be reposing in Massey Bros Funeral Home, Blackrock (A94X308) on Monday, March 11 from 5pm –7pm. Nora’s Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 12 at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, Dublin 4, followed by private cremation.
