Gardaí in Wicklow have urged all road users to take care on the roads this Christmas following an incident on the N11 Southbound at the weekend.
Arklow Fire Service and Arklow Gardaí were alerted to a vehicle which went on fire after a motorist fell asleep behind the wheel. The sole occupant of the vehicle escaped without injury.
Gardaí have appealed to people to pull over safely and take a break from driving when feeling tired.
