National: Woman shot in firearm and criminal damage incidents in Dublin

Firearm and criminal damage incidents in Dublin

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a number of incidents in Tallaght yesterday evening, Tuesday, November 21. 

At around 10:10pm, gardaí received reports of the discharge of a firearm at a residential premises in the Jobstown area. A woman aged, in her 30s, presented to Tallaght Hospital with a suspected gunshot injury. Her injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

Later in the evening gardaí and emergency services attended incidents of criminal damage by fire of a car and of a house at separate locations in the Jobstown area. No other injuries have been reported.
 

Scenes have been put in place by gardaí and technical examinations are ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.
 
Investigating gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the Jobstown area, between 9.30pm and 3:00am, who may have witnessed these incidents to come forward.
