A MOTORIST who is accused of travelling at high speed on one of the busiest roads in the country is facing a potential disqualification after they were stopped by gardai.
Details of the incident which happened on the M50 in Dublin have been posted on social media in an effort to urge motorists to slow down.
The detection was made on Thursday night by members of the DMR South Roads Policing Unit.
According to gardai, the car was travelling at 211km/h before it was stopped.
The driver, who was spoken to at the scene, has now been summonsed to appear before the district court in the coming weeks.
