After a relatively mild week, temperatures are set to drop sharply across Donegal this weekend.
Gritters will be in action on all designated routes on Saturday night and again on Sunday morning.
Roads will be gritted from 7pm on Saturday, with the moring crews in action from 6am on Sunday.
Motorists are reminded to drive with caution and to assume that no road is ice free.
